Agro Terra North with an innovative educational initiative in Bregovo town

The subsidiary of Advance Equity Holding - Agro Terra North JSC - provided The High School St. Cyril and Methodius in Bregovo town with the largest and most advanced interactive whiteboard in Bulgaria on the occasion of the beginning of the new school year. The tool will be used by the recently established course with profile Agroecology, which already educates 18 students in eight grade. The touch screen on the whiteboard allows teachers to educate in an innovative way through multimedia and visual images. The high-tech board allows four people to operate simultaneously. This new method will provoke the interest of students to lessons and will increase the efficiency of educational process itself. Such an educational system is still unknown to most schools in Bulgaria.

The event at the presentation of the initiative took place on 09.15.2015. It was attended by the Executive Director of Agro Terra North JSC, Ventseslav Donchev, representatives of Municipality of Bregovo, the Regional Inspectorate of Education - Vidin and teachers from Negotin, Serbia. Bishop Polycarp gave his blessing as guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the academic year. As part of its educational initiative in the upcoming agricultural campaign, Agro Terra North JSC will provide an opportunity to the students to gain practical experience by getting familiar with the daily activities of the company. Agro Terra North JSC plans new joint educational projects with the school St. Cyril and Methodius in the near future as an important element of its program of corporate social responsibility.
